I visit Puerto Vallarta as often as possible, staying at the luxurious gated and secure beachfront complex of La Puntilla near La Cruz de Huanacaxtle or in nearby Bucerias in the new beachfront Colibri Condominiums building as well as at Villas del Sol on the south side of Bucerias. The La Puntilla complex is located just 20 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport while the last four properties are located just 15 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport in the small town of Bucerias.

Villas del Sol is a comfortable, modern complex of 7 small apartments, located on the south side of town, just a block and a half from beautiful Bucerias Beach. Six, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments each accommodate a maximum of 4 people (a 5th person in a cot is possible) and the one studio unit is perfect for a single person or a couple.
